Background and Qualifications

I am a versatile writer of documents for and about business, education, design, government, health care, and other fields.

With a start in book and magazine publishing in New York, I moved next into the news industry to write and edit for such outlets as the Associated Press and The Los Angeles Times.

In 1997, I was brought on board for the start-up team for Sidewalk, Microsoft’s Internet city guide, and later became the editorial director of Trip.com.

My experience led me into print and digital work in the architecture / engineering / construction (AEC) industry and grew to accommodate government, education, health care, science and technology.

I’ve worked on everything from Web migration, advertising copy and film reviews to white papers, Web content strategy and books for small businesses, mid-sized companies and major corporations.
